Popular South Korean actor Lee Jong-Suk is making his much-awaited return to television with the legal drama “Law and the City”. Following hits like Big Mouth and While You Were Sleeping, this marks his comeback after completing his military service. The new K-drama also stars Mun Ka-Young, Kang You-Seok, Im Sung-Jae, and Ryu Hye-Young.
Plot Overview
In Law and the City, Jong-Suk plays Ahn Ju-Hyeong, a brilliant yet emotionally distant lawyer who’s spent nearly a decade at the prestigious Kyungmin Law Firm. Driven purely by logic, money, and comfort, he avoids idealistic goals like justice or helping the weak. However, his views begin to shift as he questions the meaning of his work and future.
Mun Ka-Young stars opposite Jong-Suk, and their on-screen chemistry is already generating buzz. The drama is written by Lee Seung-Hyun and directed by Park Seung-Woo, known for his work on W: Two Worlds Apart.
