Cheyyar 4-lane expansion works to start soon.. Journey to Tirupati and Melmaruvathur temples to get shorter

It has been reported that the contract works for the Cheyyar 4 lane widening project will start soon. Being one of the leading construction companies in Tamil Nadu, KCP Infra Limited is known for its successful completion of roads, highways, grand bridges, small bridges and state-of-the-art facilities and also for executing all type of Smart City Projects.


Now, KCP Infra Limited got the new opportunity to work on the State Highways (SH-05) project is about to set to expand the 2-way lanes into 4-way lanes across Arcot-Tindivanam Road and Thiruvathipuram Bypass Road.


Along with the expansion of the highway, various structures such as small bridges, drainages, barrier walls, and few culverts facilitating the flow of water have been constructed to prevent flooding during the rainy season. In particular, this road widening work is being carried out for the convenience of pilgrims going to Tirupati, Puducherry, Kanchipuram and Melmaruvathur temples.


Therefore, to facilitate the arrival and departure of town and mofussil buses, roads are being constructed for multiple bus routes. KCP Chandra Prakash, Managing Director of KCP said, “In the future, the road will be widened to accommodate at least one lakh vehicles, mostly from nearby states like Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, will use the stretch to go to southern districts. We will endeavour to complete the construction work within the contract period. So that people can use the same for their conveyance. It will be a great opportunity to demonstrate our good quality work,” he said.e
