Night curfew in TN from today

As the Covid cases surge, the Tamilndu government has announced night curfew from today, while ordering total lockdown on Sundays to prevent spread of the virus.

Following this, the State police department has devised an elaborated plan to implement restrictions and sources said strict action will be taken against violators.

In a statement here after holding talks with healthcare experts and other officials, Chief Minister M K Stalin said night curfew would be imposed from 10.00 pm to 5.00 am.

Stalin also announced implementation of complete lockdown on Sunday(9 January) to contain the virus spread, while imposing a ban on public entry into temples on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
