Happy birthday Sudha Kongara

Filmmaker Sudha Kongara celebrates her birthday today. Film personalities wished her in Twitter.

In 2016, she directed Irudhi Suttru (Saala Khadoos in Hindi) for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Director – Tamil.

She also directed the film’s Telugu remake, Guru. Her Soorari Pottru starring Suriya was out in Amazon Prime and it was a hugely acclaimed movie. It was based on life of Air Deccan founder Captain GR Gopinath feature and it is produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment and co-produced by Guneet Monga of Sikhya Entertainment.

Sudha Kongara also directed an anthology starring Kalidas Jayaram.
