D Jayakumar opposes Sarpatta movie

Pa Ranjith’s Sarpatta Parambarai which was released on Prime saw appreciation from all quarters. The sports saga featuring Arya and Pasupathy in lead roles has witnessed the wrath of former Minister and AIADMK leader D Jayakumar.

He said, ‘The movie has showed former Chief Minister M G Ramachandran in bad light. It is well-known fact that he was a boxing lover and had stunts featuring him as boxer in many films. To portray him otherwise is wrong.’
He expressed his condemnation to Pa Ranjith for portraying AIADMK and MGR in a wrong light.
