Stalin hails innovative Class 9 student for developing palm-sized CPU

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin personally congratulated a ninth standard student from Tiruvarur for developing an innovative palm-sized portable computer CPU.

The student S S Madhav, along with his parents, met Stalin at the State Secretariat.

Appreciating his innovation, the Chief Minister assured him all help from the state government and promised assistance for his studies and research.

As the schools were closed due to COviD lockdown, the boy hit upon this novel idea of developing a portable CPU after studying software
programmes like Java, Python, C, C++ and Kotlin online.

After sourcing the necessary parts, motherboard from vendors in Mumbai, Madhav designed it and emerged successful on his 21st
attempt after his previous 20 attempts went in vain.

He has started selling the mini-CPU online priced at Rs 8,000 under the company name Terabyte India CPU Manufacturing Company.
