Heavy rains lash Chennai

Chennai saw heavy rains this morning. Even suburban areas of the city witnessed showers. Traffic was halted. Officer goers and students were put to trouble.
Tamilnadu, Kerala and Karnataka are in for inclement weather conditions in the coming
as heavy rains have been forecast due to a cyclonic circulation over the southwest Bay of Bengal adjoining Tamilnadu.
A meteorological mix with a trough running through this cyclonic circulation to the east-central Arabian Sea off Karnataka and Kerala coast also produces widespread rains.
