NIA raids 12 places in Tamil Nadu after seizure of drugs, arms from Lankan fishing boat

The NIA is carrying out raids in 12 places in Tamil Nadu to investigate the seizure of arms and drugs from a Lankan fishing boat off Vizhinjam few months ago.

Last week the NIA had arrested a former member of LTTE intelligence wing in connection with the drug trafficking. The NIA is also raiding premises in Kerala and Karanataka .
