Chennai: In his letter to the cadre, Stalin said, “Let us develop Tamil Nadu and create an impact in other states. To protect state rights and linguistic rights, let us work steadfastly. Let us strive to create history where DMK would be an inevitable force in the union of India.”

Recalling the inauguration of the party office in the national capital on April 2, Stalin said the inauguration of Anna-Kalaignar Arivalyam, which was a symbol of social justice, was a rare event, which united the secular, democratic and progressive forces across the country. Recalling his speech and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s statement about him in the 23rd party congress of CPI (Marxist) in Kannur a few days ago, the Chief Minister said, “Tamil Nadu is my motherland. The people of Tamil Nadu have elected me as Chief Minister.

My priority would be Tamil Nadu. The impact of the Dravidian model government in the state is serving as a guide for other states in the country.” Stalin, who recalled his UAE trip, the inauguration of Periyar Memorial Samathuvapurams and signing of MoUs with investors, penned the letter to his cadre barely a few days after he appealed to the secular parties to look beyond political boundaries to unite and defeat the BJP.
