Chennai Corporation launched 24×7 covid vaccination centres

In order to ramp up the vaccination drive, Greater Chennai Corporation launched fifteen 24X7 vaccination centres from Sunday. As per the report, each zone of the civic body will get one vaccination centre.

Earlier on September 1, the Chennai municipal corporation vaccinated 35,400 people in the city, while on September 2 number of people taking vaccination jab rose to 53,700.

The report further suggests that similar centres have been set up at many places.
