Ma Subramaniam to meet Union Health Minister today

Tamilnadu Health Minister M Subramanian will leave for New Delhi today, to press the Centre to allot more vaccines to the State.

According to sources, Subramanian will meet Union Health Minister Mansukh L Mandaviya to get more vaccines to the State.

This comes days after Health Secretary Dr J Radhakrishnan met top officials of the Centre and a day after Chief Minister M K Stalin wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking more vaccine does to Tamilnadu.

Stalin requested PM’s intervention to ‘correct the imbalance’ in the Covid-19 vaccine allocation for Tamilnadu, and make a special allotment of one crore doses.
