Murugan slams Stalin, BJP MLAs meet Governor

BJP Tamilnadu unit president L Murugan has said nowhere in the Constitution the Central government has been mentioned as Union government, as being claimed by Chief Minister M K Stalin.

“By doing so, Stalin is insulting Dr B R Ambedkar,” Murugan said. Meanwhile, BJP legislators along with Murugan called on Tamilnadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit on Wednesday at the Raj Bhavan here.

Stalin on Wednesday justified the usage of term ‘Union Government’ to address the Centre and said the DMK government would continue to do so as there was nothing wrong in it.
