TN holds mega vaccine drive, targets second dose

Tamilnadu health department today organised sixth mega Covid vaccination drive across the State with around 50,000 camps.

‘The sixth mega vaccine camp is scheduled to be held at 50,000 centers under the guidance of the Chief Minister M K Stalin,’ Health Minister M Subramanian said and added that the main focus would be on second doses this time.

‘Nearly, 30.43 lakh beneficiaries will be administered the second dose in the sixth mega camp,’ he said.

Subramanian appealed to the people to take the vaccine as the state has adequate doses. He added that with the vaccines available in sufficient numbers, people must take the jab at the earliest.
