With the ongoing lockdown, induced by Covid-19, ending on Monday, Chief Minister MK Stalin will today chair a meeting with officials and experts to decide on further relaxations.

According to sources, the lockdown will be extended for one more week, however with more relaxations in districts where cases are steadily coming down.

It is said that inter-district bus services will be allowed in places with less number of infections. A decision on allowing functioning of big shops and malls is also to be taken.

A panel of medical experts had recently recommended that the Tamilnadu government extend the lockdown to curb the spread of Covid-19.
